Cross Country Move

It is amazing to see all your stuff loaded into boxes and organized on your driveway. We are sad to be leaving Flagstaff behind, but are excited about the future. Before we left, Margaret helped me in the yard by watching from her Bumbo chair. She has also gotten very into exploring and you can see her with Stacey and the beautiful flowers. Trouble is, like all babies it goes right to the mouth.
After we pulled out of AZ we headed to visit friends in Colorado. Margaret played in Moab, Edwards and went for a hike up Shrine Pass near Vail. What a view. What a great hiker, until she was STARVING!
Throughout our drive we have found parks and schools to stop and rest in the shade. Picnics everyday for lunch and quite walks in the evenings. Our least stressful drive ever across the country.
There is also a lot of fun happening right in the car. Margaret is such a reader and loves, loves, loves her woobie. Every time she wakes up from a nap she finds it in her lap and is super excited. She even holds it while sleeping.
Very soon we will be to our new home. Everyone in Flagstaff, we miss you terribly and can't wait until next time. Kisses to all.

New Toy

While packing to move we remembered a toy we had tucked away for later. Well, "later" has arrived and Margaret is very into her new large piece of plastic. She gets frustrated when she can't rip off the pieces and put them into her mouth, but it lights up and makes noise. Soon I am sure we will take out all the batteries.

Summer Playing

As daddy's last two weeks of work wrapped up, Margaret had been playing in her crib, taking long naps, supporting the Red Socks and having play dates with her best friend Katie. We are getting ready to pack and move. Luckily, Margie Bean's routine will stay the same through all the crazy. We all can't believe we are East Coast bound.
