Richmond Visit

It was awesome to get to Richmond for a short visit to see lots of friends and get everyone to meet Margaret. We can't believe that she is 6 months old. Margaret is now crawling all over the place and sitting up by herself. Her favorite motivator is Bodhi. She crawls as fast as she can to reach him. We also had to lower the crib mattress two settings because Missy Pants can sit up at the edge and then pull herself to standing. Amazing how fast it happens. She is getting to be such a big girl.
Increasing her size could also be the peas. We have started eating solid food. Margaret is more of a fan of feeding herself than letting her mommy.

First week in Asheville

Well we had to buy a new sling because Miss Margie Bean has gotten so long she no longer fits in the one sided should one, but we need a sling because she is all "mommy, mommy" right now and I need hands to do things. We ended up purchasing a sling that is the equivalent of a 10'long piece of fabric that you origami around yourself. In other news, her daddy purchased his first piece of clothing for his baby girl...a RUN DMC onezie. It rocks. Besides from practicing crawling, Margaret and I have been getting out for walks and unpacking at the house. Next week we are going to attend our first music class. Keep you posted.

Crawling Update

Even though you can't really tell in this video, Margaret is just getting the hand/knee organization. She loves to push her cute rear into the air and go after her favorite thing...Bodhi.

Cuteness Eating

This is just totally cute Margaret getting ready to eat big girl food.

Grandparents

For the past week we have felt like Japanese tourists have been visiting what with all the cameras and flashes for our superstar Margaret. We have been playing, checking out the new town as much as we can with one car and practicing eating. No food yet, just playing with the utensils. Also Margaret is totally into Skyping. She already knows to crawl closer to the computer and touch stuff.
Also, for those in the know, we got rid of the "chair and a half" (the house was just too tiny) and finally picked up this cool leather chair. YEAH!
We are so glad to have all the grandparents help moving into the house. Now we can't wait for more visitors.

Arrival

We have made it all the way from Flagstaff to Asheville in one piece. We did have to wait a few days for the stuff, but now that it has arrived we are kind of wishing we didn't have to unpack it all. Margaret is finally settling in to sleeping long into the night. She loved the pop-up crib especially because it had mesh on the sides that made an AWESOME noise when she moved her fingers along it.
The movers had to transfer all our stuff from the big truck into a smaller UHaul truck because the street is so narrow and our driveway is steep. We have a ton of it stuffed into the garage/basement until we can figure out where to put it all.
Our house has two decks and both Margaret and Bodhi like to sit outside and look at the mountains. She is also happy to have time on the floor to practice her crawling. She is very close.
