Baptism Atlanta Weekend

This past weekend much of the family met up in Atlanta for a last hurrah. We celebrated Mike's birthday, Margaret's baptism and just general fun. Silliness right from the beginning.
Out on Gram and Pop's house boat.

Margaret loves the breeze and was laughing the whole way. She did have a little trouble keeping her sea legs and had a fall into some chairs. We went below deck for more fun.

At the Baptism.
It was a chilly morning, but a beautiful sunny day. We kept the whole affair low key at a quaint outdoor chapel in Flowery Branch, GA. We wanted to bring family together before our small unit headed back to Flagstaff.
The family and Minister Bruce.
We brought flowers to have on the alter. A beautiful arrangement put together by Gram. Some of Margaret's favorites.
Post brunch, post baptism outfit. Everyone else stayed in their lovely clothes except for the star. She need to change into a full on play outfit for running around.

You can see the cute chapel in the background. It was a perfect day.

Little Pool

Grammy came to visit us in Asheville to help entertain Margaret while Mommy and Daddy packed. She came up the great idea to get a baby pool for the yard. The water was cold, but air was HOT. In the video you can see how badly Margaret wants to play in the water, but it was cold when she sat down. We had so much fun and will bring the small pool with us.

Richmond Children's Museum

Besides all the fun at the house and coffee shops, Grammy, Margaret and Mommy went to the Richmond Children's Museum. We had no idea what Margaret would think. Turns out she felt it was tons of fun.

Milking a cow.
This shopping cart was the most fun at the museum.

Ringing up a carrot and getting Grammy's help.

Driving the ambulance.
Picking apples.

Richmond Visit

We just got back from a really fun visit to Richmond. Margaret LOVED playing in Grammy and Grandaddy's big yard. Grammy got her a new pink ball to play with. She ran all over the yard. We saw friends, walked the dog, went to museums and just had a fun time.
Out for a walk with Sue and her great doggies.
Coffee with Glen and Greg. We think we should make them honorary uncles. They both have baby mojo. (and fun cell phones)

Gardening in Grammy's herb garden. Picking the flowers.
Fun with Aunt Sarah.
Oatmeal breakfast with Grandaddy. He impressed us all by getting up early every day to play with Margaret and eat breakfast with her.
One day it rained so we had an impromptu egg hunt inside. Margaret had the best time.
In fact, we all had such a fun time. Thanks Grammy and Grandaddy!
