Margaret Browne: August 2012

This has been a very fun, low key yet busy summer. After buying the house in May we have stuck around trying to get out new lives organized. This involves opening boxes that have been moved 4-5 times without ever being opened. Now we just need to slowly work our way through all the stuff. We get out for walks every day and now teddy comes too. He comes a lot of places these days, even on a vacation to Colorado.

Gram and Pops came to visit in June. Such a great time. They helped us with a few house tasks and had fun playing with Margaret. Babies is a fun game recently.

We were caught as a family visiting daddy one day at the hospital. It was a photo shoot for the hospital and they decided to get some pictures of us hanging out. Good thing Margaret was "on it".

Margaret has also started swim lessons in preparation for rafting trips and visits to Lake Powell.

Off to Colorado. Margaret is a driving champ. We headed to Grand Junction for the first night and then hit the Glenwood Spring Pool in the morning. The place is awesome and has changed a lot over the years. Their kid pool is 2 feet deep and 90*. Margaret played for 2 hours with Daddy, Mommy and other kids in the pool. We then headed up to Edwards to stay with friends. Their amazing little girl, Alana was a huge hit with Margaret. They had tons of fun at the pool, hiking, playground and just hanging out at the house.
As a family we rode the gondola, stayed in Vail in a awesome condo for a few days and got tons of hike and mountain biking in. Mike even had naps and beers with lunch. What a great vacation.
When we got home (after a 10 hour dive where she kicked ass) she had to play with all her toys she left behind. Too cute!
