Boating Weekend
This past weekend we went down to Lake Lanier outside Atlanta for Margaret's first boating experience. We had a great time with the grandparents. There was time to play on the houseboat with lots of room to crawl around and then a short, slow ride on the speedboat (thanks Chris). Don't worry we had an infant life jacket the whole time. Margaret's favorite part was the wind blowing her hair and the wake from the boat. Yipee!

President Clinton
A big surprise here in Asheville was a visit from President Clinton. We heard about it on NPR this morning and decided to head downtown to check it out. Margaret needed to attend her first liberal rally. Luckily it was a beautiful fall day and we got to hang out with some new friends. We took a short video just so everyone would believe he actually showed.

Biltmore Farm
We just spent the evening at the Biltmore Farm. Margaret checked out the goats, sheep and horses with her Daddy. She also rode the tractor and posed with the scarecrows. After walking past the fields with the cows and through the kitchen garden, everyone decided that it was time for some wine tasting. Even Margaret got in on the action. What a fun evening. We were so glad that Aunt Ali was there to share the day with us.

Last week in September
Margaret and Mommy spent a few extra days in Richmond after Daddy left. Margaret played in Mommy's old white crib, played on Mommy's old bed and visited her Great Great Aunt Mickey. Grammy came back with the girls to Asheville and the fun continued. Margaret has now added sweet potato to her diet. She still prefers to feed herself, but they are a much bigger hit than the rice cereal and peas. Yum!
Grammy was able to come to our music class. It is such a fun time. We only included the picture without all the other kids because of privacy for the other kids....but take my word for it, the class is hysterical.
All the ladies also visited the Biltmore Estate. It is super cool and we will definitely be headed back. After all of that, of course Margaret had to take a nap in the Ergo Baby. What a week.
