Holiday Videos

A longer video of Margaret helping me sort Christmas ornaments, but cute for the grandparents. Because isn't this whole blog for them.

Margaret LOVES Christmas lights! She was pretty psyched when we put ours up.

Margaret's first look at her Christmas stuff. She already had the table, we just set things up on it.

Margaret seeing the kitchen.

Margaret seeing the bike for the first time. Thanks Nani and Gappy.

Snow and Gram/Pops Visit

Checking out the snow falling.

Our quick outfit for just running outside. Snow is so much fun!
Music Together Class with Gram.
Sandbox time playing with Gram (even though you can't see her.)
Playing at the kitchen in the public library with Gram.
Opening presents with Gram and Pops. She got books, a boat for the tub (she named the captain, Captain Brody), puzzles, clothes from Ireland, puppets and kitchen supplies. Her grandparents are so generous. We were so busy opening presents and having an early Christmas that we forgot to take pictures. Margaret is an excellent gift receiver.
Playground with Gram, Pops and Daddy. Great snowy sliding and swinging.

Helping Mommy make lentil soup for our guests on a cold snowy day. Notice we're all dressed for success.
The tree outside where we went to see Santa. She was super shy at first and then was able to sit in Santa's lap. The funny thing is now she can't stop talking about it and how she sat in his lap.

We are so glad Gram and Pops came to visit for the holidays. We had such a wonderful, relaxing time with them and can't wait to see them again.

Tigers

Last one, I promise. I just finally figured out the way to compress the huge 1080 videos for the blog. Yeah for tigers.

WIldlife Park Videos

These videos speak for themselves. Again, we had the best time. How many times to you get to feed a giraffe. The park prides themselves on trying to maintain a natural landscape. They do however name many of the animals.

WIldlife Park Pictures

The day after Thanksgiving we drove down to Cottonwood to go to the Wildlife Park. IT'S AWESOME! The weather was perfect and it turns out that this is the time of the year for baby animals. We saw tons, and the baby zebra was the biggest hit. Daddy took tons of pictures and hopefully some capture the pure excitement of the day. You can get so close to the animals in their natural habitat. We also took a safari tour through the habitat. Margaret fed a giraffe when it stuck its head into our safari vehicle. The lions were roaring, the hyenas pacing and just tons of fun. She called them hyeedas. Videos to come.

Giraffe in vehicle!

Petting a Tegua.
Waiting for the tram. Also a huge hit!
The hyeeda.
Pausing for snack, not 10 feet from a huge tiger sleeping in the sun.

Catch all stuff from the Phone

Hiking up on the mountain in the sleet and snow. You can see little missy is having a great time.

Teacher Margaret giving her biggest smile.

Getting coffee with mommy at Late for the Train. This is Margaret's "smile".

Breakfast with Margaret

Margaret is super into tumbling and in fact practices at home. She loves bunnies so much. Many times she stands off to the side observing and then comes home talks about Ms. Casey the teacher and does the new movement.

First "Big Girl" Snow

First time in the snow as a big girl. We were dressed for the weather.
We cleared some of the snow and Miss M put on her new favorite boots and tights to collect snow to bring inside to "investigate".
Another snowy day, another day in tights and the new boots.
Taking Bodhi on a hike. Her favorite thing to do is throw rocks into the big puddles where the snow is melting.
Someone was just caught eating the snow.

Presnow swinging!

Margaret's first touching the snow experience. She was really excited!

Just cute walking around in the snow pants.

Days leading up to Halloween

We have been quite busy as a family with all the fun fall activities. The leaves have been beautiful and the weather awesome. Warm days and cool nights with snow on the mountain. This picture is from the fall festival at Warner's, a local flower landscaping shop. There was tons of great activities for little kids including ponies and a huge rabbit to pet.

Organizing our pumpkins.

The first of many different costumes.
Not a costume, but helping daddy with cleaning his bike. Outfit: pink cowgirl boots, big girl underpants and her Hollywood sunglasses.
At a friend's Halloween party. Looking for hidden pumpkins.

Pumpkin carving with Daddy.

Trick or Treating with Mommy and Daddy. She got the hang of it really quick and decided that Dum dum lollypops are her favorite.

Snowbowl Picnic

Yesterday afternoon we went up to Snowbowl to have a picnic and look at the leaves. Margaret loved waving to hikers, checking out the plants (though some were "pokey") and eating cheese with Daddy. It was a beautiful afternoon with a gorgeous sunset. Can't wait to do it again.
