Nani and Gappy

We just had the greatest visit with Nani and Gappy (formally known as Grammy and Grandaddy, but Margaret changed their names ) They were here for a good long visit so we got to do tons of things. We played in the baby pool, went to the Grand Canyon, took tons of hikes and just hung out at the house. Luckily the weather was perfect here and the grandparents missed out on the East Coast earthquake and hurricane.

Margaret got a new baby doll stroller, which she LOVES! She is currently really into her "babies". Nani was busy making outfits for them. We read stories, played in the rain and walked BoBo.

Nani only managed to take 270 photos. We had a lot to choose from and will probably need to post even more.

Arts & Music Festival

Last weekend we went down to Wheeler Park for the Children's Art and Music Festival. There was painting, puppets, musical instruments, music, hula hoops and just tons of fun. We all had a blast and came home with some beautiful Margaret art pieces.

Margaret was shy at first checking everything out. Sometimes she appears like she isn't having fun, but we've now learned that she is just observing and then gets right into the fun. After 10 mins she was ready to go!

New Bike

We picked up a awesome new bike for Margaret off of craigslist. It's a little big, but we got it for a great deal and she loves it. Her feet can almost touch the ground on both sides. She leans to try to push with her feet. Soon enough she'll be on her own.

Also she looked so cute I had to add two videos just for the grandparents.

Video Fun

Just another day at the Browne household. These videos are for all our friends to see Miss Margaret. We miss all of you and can't wait to have some visitors.



We had a grasshopper come into the house, what a fun opportunity!



All on her own, Margaret dragged this chair over to the drawer to be able to reach inside. Needless to say, shortly after the video was taken, she fell off. It wasn't bad, but stopped her for a while. She is now really getting into everything! Just yesterday she climbed up on the back of the couch to try to get into the window sill. I am sometimes amazed at her agility.

These are just a bunch of pictures that I recently pulled off the cell phone. Margaret is growing so fast. It's hard for even me to believe and I spend every day with her.
I was unable to label each picture, but some are from Asheville and some Flagstc aff. You can see her with her friend Anna in Asheville (who we miss SO much), her friend Gunther in Flagstaff (wearing matching Sesame Street underpants over their clothes). Her first birthday, early in the morning before anyone showed up to celebrate.
